Business Start-up

Hi, my name's Tim Fairweather, and welcome to my journey to be an internet entrepreneur.



My purpose for this blog is two-fold:



Firstly, I want to create the most effective website for the personal development and self-help community worldwide. I want to help people like myself, find out about everything that is going on in the PD space. I want to know what people have read, what works, their favorite tips - I want to create a community of peer and reader review which enables someone who wants to get more out of life to do so with the help of everyone else.



Secondly, as part of the process - I need help. I can't do it on my own. I need to create interest in the project and meet people who can help me get there. I want everyone to suggest ways to get this project up and running.



I've always wanted to work for myself. I've had a brief foray into starting and running my own business. It was really successful - but ended up being too much to handle in between my full-time job. I loved the excitement of our first cheque - even more when it didn't bounce!



I was bitten by the entreprenerial bug before I finished school and since then have read everything I can, spoken to everyone I can and sought out and enjoyed the challenge of creating something from nothing.



I want to hear about similar challenges and problems from other entrepreneurs so we can bounce ideas off eachother.
